Faculty of Service Industries
The Faculty of Service Industries educates and trains students to develop their full potential in a wide range of fields in the service industries.
サービス産業の新しく多様な領域で活躍できる人材を育成します。
Service means an activity tailored to the needs of consumers, and the service industry is defined to be the industry that fulfills those needs. Services are of three kinds individual, corporate and social, whether profit-making or non-profit making. Two out of three workers in Japan are engaged in the service industry today.
The variety of new service industries is bound to grow. Students will study the most up-to-date information and skills necessary and be able to become specialists in this promising field.
サービスとは「顧客の要求に応じてカスタマイズされたカタチのない活動」といわれています。そしてサービスを受け入れる消費者のニーズの充足を目的とする活動が、サービス産業と考えられます。また、サービスには「個人」「企業」「社会」「営利」「非営利」に分類され、日本社会の雇用者は、3人のうち2人がサービス産業で働いています。
今後も新しいサービスビジネスが生まれ、更なる発展が予想されるこの分野において、必要となる最先端の知識とスキルを学習。サービスの幅広い領域で活躍できる人材を育成します。
Course of Tourism Related Business
In response to the growing demands of an ever-shrinking world, students will learn various forms of hospitality and develop caring sensibility.

Students in the Service Dynamics Course study consumer psychology and clinical psychology so as to be able to provide services tailored to meet the demands of successive generations.

- POINT3 Preparing to meet the wide range of needs in the service industry.

The Social Welfare Course educates and trains students to acquire advanced and specialized skills and a highly developed sense of and attitude to welfare.
